Initial ranking update - How long does it take?
Discover the factors influencing the timing of your initial rankings delivery.
Whenever you add a new website to the AWR app, the time required to deliver the initial rankings is influenced by these two factors:
1. Selected scheduler frequency
For scheduled projects—daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly—the initial set of rankings is expected within minutes to a few hours, and no later than 24 hours after the project is added to AWR.
2. Project complexity
The number of search engines and keywords also influences the ETA for the initial rankings set. For projects with fewer than 100 keywords, you can expect the initial rankings to be delivered within one hour of adding the project to AWR.
Rankings are not delivered instantly because we send real keyword queries to the search engines you’ve defined. The rankings are not pre-stored in databases or sourced from third-party applications.
To keep you informed every step of the way, the initial ranking update wizard displays a clear progress bar, guiding you from 0% to 100% completion.
