Forecast alert template

Enabling the template will generate a summary email (see the Forecast update overview alert above) dispatched to the selected recipients once a month, following each forecast update. Refreshing the forecast manually won't trigger a new email alert.

Create alert

The create new alert functionality comes with two options:

1. Default alert

This summary alert is sent out monthly after each forecast update. Similar to the Template alert, manual refresh won't trigger this alert.

2. Custom alert

A custom alert can be set up to detect changes in either the Forecast status, the Keyword status, or both, depending on the user's preferences.

Forecast status

Indicates whether the Forecast’s progress relative to the position range selected is Above Target, On Target, or Behind Target. The alert triggers upon changes in the selected forecast status between updates, indicating movements toward or away from the established target, as follows:

  • Above Target: alert triggers when the Forecast's actual performance surpasses the expected target.

  • On Target: alert triggers when the Forecast's current performance matches the predictive expectations.

  • Behind Target: alert triggers when the Forecast's actual performance fails to achieve the expected target.

    Keyword status

Indicates whether the keywords’ progress relative to the position range set within the Forecast is meeting or not the expected performance. The alert triggers upon changes in the selected keyword status between updates, indicating movements toward or away from the established target, as follows:

  • Underperforming: alert triggers about keywords performing below the projected target.

  • Keyword on track: alert triggers for keywords whose current performance is meeting the anticipated target.

You can choose to have the forecasting alerts delivered either to the selected email addresses or through the connected Slack account. This ensures you're kept updated via your preferred communication channel.
