How to identify new competitors using the Top Sites report

Learn how to leverage the Top Sites report to identify competitors consistently ranking in the top 10 for your tracked keywords and start monitoring them.

In the table, websites are highlighted in different colors for quick identification:

  • Yellow – Represents the main tracked website.

  • Green – Marks domains or websites already added as competitors.

  • White and gray – Highlights other websites that are not currently being tracked.

By reviewing the SERPs, you can spot websites that consistently rank in the top 20 results for your tracked keywords. If certain domains frequently appear, you might want to track them as competitors.

To do this, simply select the website(s) you want to track and choose “Add as domain” to monitor the entire domain or “Add as URL” to track only the specific URL(s).
